Slowing Down A Two Year Old

I understand its hard to trust a new photographer to get the job done with your busy two year old, but I have just the trick.  Well, okay sometimes we figure stuff out along the way, but you or I have to be willing to improvise.  This session started out in the studio and wasn’t quite working.  Awesome little girl and a mover too.  Often all the props and backgrounds in the studio can seem like a wild place that these little ones need to explore, which means there’s no time for photos.  At that point I usually suggest moving to another location out of the studio (weather permitting).  We decided to head down the road to a local park with rolling fields and wild flowers.  What a great decision!  We settled down in the middle of the field with a light reflector and captured some great shots.  There’s tons of great ones, but I need not show them all.  She did so well that we moved to Historic Middletown and tried some more.  We where all a little wore out by the end.  Enjoy!
